Certain media outlets and shows are turning NBA fans stupidity into racism

Let ESPN, First Things First (FS1) and few other outlets and shows tell it, this is STRICTLY a racism thing, not just a few ignorant fans that have taken their passion for their team way too far.

This might be one of the most ignorant things I have EVER heard in my life.

These “experts” are honestly going to try to convince me, that a fan base that is majority white, willingly spending anywhere from $100 to $1,000 for playoff tickets, for a league that they know is 74.6% black (83.4% non-white), to make a racist stance or to be racist?

What kind of drugs do you have to be on to honestly believe that?

Maybe you boycott going to games because league is 83.4% non-white. Maybe you hold up signs outside stadium making racial comments. Maybe even go to social media. There are literally a million other ways to show racism or make me believe this is racist laced.

But, to tell me, someone would spend $1,000 per ticket, supporting the league, just to be racist…you have lost your mind.

I agree, fans have gotten out of control. I agree, the NBA has created an “entitled” atmosphere and while the players have taken advantage of this and are living a pampered life, the fans have taken this to the exact opposite ugly extreme.

I believe that these are just passionate fans, that genuinely just hate the opposition teams and players, that are unfortunately not housed trained and have been ugly and disrespectful.

Growing up a Cleveland Browns fan, after watching “The Drive” and “The Fumble”, I learned to hate John Elway. I would have given him the double number one salute or would have called him a few mean names to his face, doesn’t mean I was racist or hated a white quarterback, means I hated what Elway did to my Browns Super Bowl runs and was young and dumb.

Can we please get passed the ignorance and blaming everything in this world on racism and just be honest, call out the ignorant and point out the lack of parenting.
