Nick Chubb is in concussion protocol after the Cleveland Browns’ running back took a high hit from fellow teammate LB Mack Wilson.
On Tuesday, coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Chubb is in the concussion protocol. Stefanski also let the media know that Chubb was NOT happy with the hit from Wilson. Adding that “we’ve gotta be smart”.
There is no timeframe for how long Chubb will be in the concussion protocol.
With no preseason and a shortened OTAs, every little bit of practice these teams and players can get are vital. By rule, Chubb won’t be permitted to practice until he obtains the appropriate clearances from neurologists.
This makes Kareem Hunt next man up. The 2017 NFL rushing leader (as a rookie) will have to prepare himself to potentially be the man as the 2020 season kicks-off.
